How to Select
For fresh dates, choose dates with smooth skin, and which aren’t broken on the surface. For dried dates, choose dates where the skin is attached to the stem, and have a clean, shiny appearance.
How to Store
Fresh dates can be refrigerated for up to one week or frozen for up to one year. Dried dates, can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for several months or refrigerated for up to a year.
